As we get older it becomes more important to take preventative steps to maintain good health. Our full body health assessment comprises medical and non-invasive tests to give you a complete picture of your health and wellbeing.
Our quick blood test gives us a comprehensive view of your health including your thyroid, kidney, liver, heart and hormonal health. We’ll also take other measurements such as your weight and height, your blood pressure, your blood oxygen levels and we’ll perform an electrocardiogram (ECG).
Our fully qualified nurses and doctors undertake all the tests and are also able to discuss any specific concerns or issues you might have.
Whilst most people’s full body health assessments point to changes you can easily make to your lifestyle if you do require further support our clinical team can arrange private GP referrals or NHS services on your behalf.
What’s involved?
The full body health assessment is made up of two appointments – one to carry out the tests and then another for one of our doctors to discuss your results.
Once you’ve booked your appointment either online, by email or by phone we’ll send you a pre assessment questionnaire. Please complete this before your first appointment.
For your first appointment please do not consume food or drink for six hours beforehand. Please do make sure you stay hydrated by drinking water. Please don’t smoke for at least thirty minutes before your appointment. Please don’t take part in strenuous exercise for forty-eight hours before your appointment.
At this first appointment we will take blood and perform other tests so please come in loose fitting, comfortable clothing.
At the second appointment one of our doctors will present you with your personalised full body health assessment report and discuss its contents with you. They will also make suggestions on how you can improve your overall health.
Levels of assessment
We used to offer a Standard Assessment and an Advanced Assessment, but we discovered that the overwhelming majority of patients wanted (and needed) the Advanced Assessment so we've decided to just offer this now. The Advanced Assessment is priced at £299.
